Accounts on sites such as photobucket are used for doing things like that. This is mainly because here on deviantArt, your gallery is like your portfolio. Also, here on deviantArt, posting work that is not your own is known as "art theft". "Art theft" is a serious business. When posting work on this site you haven't done yourself, you have violated the laws of copyright, whether or not you intended to or were aware that you were doing it. As a published author, I know very well about the laws of copyright, and they are very strict. If the original artist of the work you posted is to see your page, they are allowed to file a lawsuit against you, and sue you for up to $250,000. It has happened before here on deviantArt, actually. On top of that, if the staff happens to come across these images on your page, they will remove them from your gallery, and also possibly ban you from this site, not allowing you to come back. To avoid this from happening, please remove any art that you didn't do 100% by yourself. I'm not saying this to be mean, I just want you to have a safe and enjoyable time here, making new friends, and getting feedback on your real art Friends are made through honesty, and I'm certain you'll make some friends and fans here of your work (whether it be drawings, paintings, photos, or stories).
